I'm sick of having to live my life as if it's a tv show. I try my best to stay away from it all but most of the time I get brought back into it anyway. People need to learn if they're going to say or do something, they need to man up and admit to it. And if they didn't do something, there's no reason to go around telling everyone that they did - especially if that's going to ruin someone else. I'm sick and tired of everyone just caring about themselves all the time. We need to take advantage of this beautiful thing we were given and just have a good time with it. Stop making it more (or less) than what it actually is. Maybe this is just a rant because I've been in a bad mood lately (not really sure why) but it's becoming a pain in the ass. You shouldn't ever want to leave home this badly to get away from everything. Ever.

Toronto Raptors.

Just finished watching the Raptors-Bucks game on TSN and I thought it'd be a good way to start this thing over. A lot of people are still talking about the trade between these two teams in the offseason that saw Toronto get point guard T.J. Ford and Milwaukee end up with forward Charlie Villanueva. According to the announcers, there are still plenty of Raptors fans questioning whether it was a good deal or not. My answer: yes. This team needed a point guard and Ford was a good choice. He's extremely quick, finds the open man and can score if he wants to. Sure they'll miss Charlie V but it's easier to get a scoring forward than a quality point guard. This team will win more games this season than last for simply having Ford run the show instead of Mike James (who signed with Minnesota). I really like what GM Bryan Colangelo has done with this team. They have a solid starting five in Chris Bosh, Ford, Morris Peterson, Anthony Parker and Rasho Nesterovic, and a bench with quality role players: the high-flying Fred Jones, point guard Jose Calderon (who looks like a totally different player this year), shooting big man Jorge Gorbajosa and number one pick Andrea Bargnani rounding out the nine-man rotation. Oh, and the Raptors won 109-92 to go to 1-1 on the season.

***

On a completely different note, I just wanted to mention how funny it is to listen to a bunch of grown adults try to explain to each other what a "sesh" is. I couldn't stop laughing.

The second beginning.

So this is the second time that I've started up this site...but this time it's going to be different. Or at least I'm going to say it is, we'll have to wait and see what it actually turns in to. I orginally created this page so that I could write about sports - I used to write about sports all the time a few years ago but then all of a sudden I lost it and forgot how to write. Lately I've figured out what was missing and have started back. I said it's going to be different because I don't plan on making every post about sports but I don't know how long that will stay true. I'm going to try to turn this into some sort of online journal thingy and actually talk about some things that go on during my life, but like I've said a few times, we'll see how it goes. But since I'm now rambling, I'm going to stop and I'll post whenever I find something to write about. Peace.
